# What the price buys

Packages in this niche differ in scope and in how they bill. Compare the scope first. Then compare the price.

## Price units differ

On 2026-10-20, businesses in this directory published prices in different units on their own sites. These are examples:

- A private registry at 450 USD, one time (Master Matchmakers).
- A consultation at 200 USD and priority membership from 20,000 USD (Matchmakers in the City).
- A course at 17 USD (Men of Action).
- Twelve weeks of one-to-one coaching at 4,985 USD (Dating by Blaine).

A registry fee, a consultation fee, a course, a program and a membership are different things. Do not compare two figures until you know the unit of each.

## Ask for the scope in numbers

For each package, ask:

- How many sessions or introductions are included, and how long is each?
- What does the business count as an introduction?
- Who does the work: the person on the website or a team?
- What is not included?
- For a monthly fee, what is the minimum term and how do I stop?

Ask for the answers in writing.

## Wide ranges

Some businesses state a range. LUMA states that its fees typically range from 0 to 250,000 USD. Select Date Society states that memberships begin around 100,000 USD. Master Matchmakers lists premium matchmaking from 3,500 to 35,000 USD. A wide range means the price depends on the case. Ask for a written quote for your own case, with the scope and the unit.

## Use one currency

Listings use US dollars, pounds and Canadian dollars. Convert every price into one currency before you compare. Use a rate that you can check.
